Paul Marrero is a native Nevadan, born in Las Vegas. He received his undergraduate education at the University of Nevada, Reno where he was a millennium scholar. He majored in Political Science with a minor in English literature.
He took a break from his education from 2003-2004 to teach English in the People’s Republic of China, in a small rural town called Yingxian.
After graduation, Paul took a job doing exploratory drilling for gold, which led him to jobs both above and below ground throughout Northern Nevada and Alaska.
Paul is a 2011 graduate of the William S. Boyd School of Law at UNLV. While in law school, Paul completed a judicial externship with the Hon. Gregg Zive (Ret.), U.S. Bankruptcy Judge, in Reno, Nevada, and worked at Vannah & Vannah as a law clerk.
Following law school, Paul worked as a law clerk for the Hon. Mark R. Denton, District Court Judge, in Las Vegas, Nevada, handling complex business litigation on a daily basis.
